A new era for Retail Technology—Together with Formex 2027
Retail Technology is taking its next big step.
On August 24–25, 2027, Retail Technology will move to Stockholmsmässan and be co-hosted with Formex—creating the Nordic region’s premier gathering for retail, e-commerce, technology, design, and the customer experiences of the future.
Following a 15% increase in visitor numbers, Retail Technology continues its strong growth. With the new 2027 initiative, the event is set to feature a larger trade show, more exhibitors, an even stronger conference program, and a broader visitor base than ever before.
For exhibitors, this means more decision-makers, more high-quality business meetings, and even better opportunities to strengthen their brand, generate new business, and build long-term relationships.
Retail Technology 2027 will be the ultimate meeting place for companies that want to stay at the forefront of retail, e-commerce, retail tech, payments, logistics, AI, and digitalization.
Winner of Store of the Year 2026: MQ Marqet
MQ Marqet has been awarded the “Store of the Year 2026” award for its innovative work in developing and taking brick-and-mortar retail to the next level. Through a strong focus on customer experience, curated content, and a modern store environment, the company has demonstrated how the retail of the future can combine commercial strength with relevance, inspiration, and digital innovation. Facing stiff competition from several strong nominees, MQ Marqet succeeded in convincing the jury and taking home this year’s award. The award was accepted on-site at Retail Technology 2026 by the company’s CEO, Ingvar Larsson, together with Cecilia Wallsin, Store Concept & Visual Merchandising Manager.
“First and foremost, it’s based on insights into how our customers experience our business. And then, not least, there are all our employees who have worked incredibly hard for several years and who know retail inside and out. An incredible number of pieces have to fall into place, and we’ve been working on this for a long time to get to where we are today.” – Ingvar Larsson, CEO, MQ Marqet.

They are therefore awarded the “Circular Commerce of the Year 2026” award.
“It’s amazing that ReTuna has reached yet another milestone! We are both grateful and proud to receive this certificate. Thank you for your votes—it’s so motivating. We’ll keep fighting for circularity and sustainable commerce!” – Simon Glimtoft, Center Manager, ReTuna Reuse Mall.
